Roger’s jewelry reflects a lifelong fascination with mosaics which began in childhood and continued through the creation of grand-scale mosaics for Wynn Hotels. Working with SICIS, a renowned mosaic specialist in Italy, Roger fashions dazzling pieces, beautiful on their own or as part of parures, using “micromosaic” techniques. Micromosaic used in this way becomes a very valuable material, on a par with precious stones, gold and pearls; microscopic tesserae are painstakingly set in infinite colors to add unique, exclusive personality and create a modern precious item of ancient origin.
