Oak Moderne is a classic faux bois, or the artistic imitation of wood or wood grain in a media. The faux bois craft has roots in the Renaissance with trompe l’oeil and was probably first crafted with concrete using an iron armature by garden craftsmen in France. Roger’s take is styled in two ways; a matte version, available in 8 colorways, and a more glamorous version done in mylar.
