Pisces Sconce
The Pisces Sconce is one of three sconces in the Zodiac Collection, designed by Roger Thomas in partnership with Boyd Lighting. Custom-designed for his final hotel project in Boston which wraps up a four-decade-long design career, Thomas’ three sconces are meant to bring emotion and subtle light to a space. This dramatic ADA sconce combines a precisely machined brass arm and rough-hewn, hand-cast brass back plate with an irregular, grooved pattern. The footprint of the sconce is contained within its rectangular backplate measuring 8″ wide and 18″ tall. Attached to this casting is a rectangular box shade in white linen and a rectangular, machined arm which extends perpendicular from the back plate. Delicately balanced atop this narrow arm is a cylinder which holds the incandescent or LED screw-in lamp. The casting is made by hand in Chicago, then perfected and joined with the machined parts by our talented artisans in Colorado. All fixtures are made-to-order.
